Pamela Strickland is a board-certified surgeon with over 20 years of experience providing expertise in a wide range of procedures, including lumpectomy, sentinel node biopsy, axillary node dissection, skin and nipple-sparing mastectomy, hidden scar surgery and aesthetic flat closure.
Dr. Strickland emphasizes that due to increased awareness and early screening, most breast cancers are now diagnosed at an early stage. Combined with more effective treatments, this has led to more survivors than ever before. Her philosophy of care is simple: “This is a problem we can fix.” She believes in offering hope and encouragement to patients at every step of their cancer journey.
Dr. Strickland's favorite part of her work is building relationships with patients, guiding them from initial diagnosis through treatment and supporting them into survivorship.
Before medical school, she worked for Lockheed Missile and Space Company, making her both a rocket scientist and a breast surgeon. Outside of work, she enjoys hiking, cooking, reading and traveling.
