Wellness Coordinator, NSG Graduate Medical Education
Carolyn Minor LCSW has been in private practice in Lawrenceville, Georgia for over 25 years. When the hospital system began its Family Medicine Residency program in 2014, she came on board as the Behavioral Health faculty. She completed the Behavioral Science Fellowship through the Society for Teachers of Family Medicine in 2017. In 2019, when her role as the Director of the Employee Assistance Program ended, she officially became the Wellness Coordinator for Northside GME. As the Wellness Coordinator she is responsible for making sure each and every resident is able to take care of themselves and their family along with caring for their patients. She continues to be involved in speaking with other divisions throughout the hospital about wellness.
Carolyn earned her BSW from North Georgia College in 1979 and her Master’s Degree in Social Work in 1988. She earned her LCSW in 1992. She is constantly working with clients on their own personal wellness as they adapt to changes that occur in their lives. She loves seeing the “light go off” when someone has a new realization which can create change for them.
Carolyn has lived in the Lawrenceville area since 1989. She also enjoys spending time with her husband of 42 years and her children and grandchildren. She enjoys the quiet of the early morning with a good cup of coffee and a beautiful sunrise.
